Meet Your
OT
Hanna Rogers, M.S., OTR/L, CAS
My name is Hanna Rogers, and I have been practicing as an occupational therapist for eight years, with experience working alongside children with disabilities for ten years. I earned a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas. In addition, I have completed training in the SOS Approach to feeding, Ready Bodies, Learning Minds, and I became a Certified Autism Specialist through IBCCES. After beginning my OT career in public schools, as well as alternative learning environments, I set out to gain additional experience across settings to better serve the students in my care. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of unique settings, including therapeutic preschools, pediatric inpatient mental health, and outpatient services tailored to children with an Autism diagnosis. My experience has allowed me to bring a unique perspective back to schools and students in order to provide the most comprehensive and impactful services that our students deserve.
I am originally from Arkansas, but after stops in California and Virginia, my husband and I have found ourselves home in Alabama. My husband and I are proud foster parents with the hope to provide as many opportunities as possible to children in Alabama. After spending our first year here and assisting a number of preschool-aged children transitioning into the school system, I hope to bring my passion to Alabama schools and pour into each student I encounter.
